The Enterprise
DOPPSTADT is a modern enterprise with tradition. In 1965 Werner Doppstadt founded an agricultural service company at Velbert, which today is a worldwide leading partner in the field of environmental technology.
Stationary and mobile machines for waste management, public services and material handling technology are developed and sold on the Calbe premises with an area of 12 hectares.
Competent, highly motivated employees pla, realise and produce machinery for mobile and stationary use for processing various materials such as waste wood, garbage, industrial waste, biowaste, excavated earth and green waste.
For our customers in more than 40 countries, we make an important contribution to the protection of the environment and to the preservation of resourses.

An region with strong infrastructure

The Location
Our company is based in Saxony-Anhalt, at Calbe, not far from the regional capital Madgeburg. Since 1990. the area has developed into a innovative location. Well-trained specialists, an efficient national and international logistic system and promising prospects make Calbe an optimal location for development and production. The railway and road system af Saxony-Anhalt is the most important traffic, logistic and distribution crossing point in the new federal states of Germany. The highway A 2 guarentees fast connections between Eastern and Western Europe; Southern Europe is connected by the A 14. Thanks to the extension of the largest waterway crossing in Europe, the area is also an excellent logistic location for maritime transports.
Various progressive market, supply ans sales potentials, and the necessary interweaving relations characterize the structure of this area.
For the regional and commercial traffic, a commercial airport and five commercial landing fields are available. For line and charter traffic, the airports al Halle/Leipzig, Hanover and the Berlin airports can be reached in less than 1.5 hours by car.

DOPPSTADT' machinery is being established more and more in processing plants such as mechanical-biological waste treatment, composting plants, waste wood recycling and sorting plants, among others. More than 40 years of experience in the develpment of recycling equipment led to the fully developed maschine technology, which already proved to be successful all over the world. The wide speading of more than 4,000 shredders and screens in operation araund the world stands for the high quality and efficiency of the machines and creates confidence between manufacturer and our usres.
