New Energy Produced From Paper Industry Refuse
Our sales partner Cesaro Mac Import erected an efficient processing plant in Italy for rejects coming from the paper recycling industry.
During the process of paper recycling refuse is produced such as rejects and paper sludges, which can be utilized by means of a suitable processing method. Rejects are foreign fibres, which are sorted out during the paper recycling process, but they contain an effective calorific value, for example textiles, plastic film, plastic, pigments, styrofoam, composites and paper residues. If these rejects are processed and pressed in our Doppstadt plant their humidity and weight will be reduced by up to 30% and their calorific value becomes useful.
The plant in Italy combines a single-shaft high-torque shredder DW 2560 E1 and a screening station SST 1025 with 40 mm trommel and four electro-hydraulic screw extruders. Due to the latest redesign, the DW 2560 E1 has become even more robust. Its powerful DC motors are equipped with rubber coupling, flywheel and planetary gear. The trommel screen SST 1025 works with four additional screw extruders, which extract water from the rejects. Approximately 550 tons of rejects are processed every day. |
