Shredder DOPPSTADT AK 420 E
The DOPPSTADT shredder AK 420 E is driven by a rotary current motor. A separately driven hydraulic pump controls the flap mechanism of the fine shredding gate, the feeding roller and the scraper floor. In addition, the machine hydraulics allow supplemental driving of a discharging conveyor belt.
In accordance with the requirements for throughput capacity and shredding specification, various mesh sizes can be selected for the shredding gate. The fine shredding gate swivels out hydraulically for maintenance and repair work and can be replaced quickly. Mesh sizes from 40 to 280 mm are available to suit every application.
Loading is typically performed with a digger or wheeled loader. The material to be shredded is fed into the actual shredding unit with the help of the scraper floor and the feeding roller. The feeding roller and scraper floor reverse when the shredding drum is overloaded. This almost entirely prevents blockages in the actual shredding unit. Leakage losses from the scraper floor are collected by the cleaning belt and conveyed to the discharge area.
The actual shredding of the material is performed by the large hammermill. The free swinging hammers are equipped with replaceable wearing tips and drag the material past the shear plate, thereby shredding it. The material remains in the shredding chamber until it can be discharged through the rear gate.
The entire shredding area can be enclosed for noise reduction. Water spray nozzles can be used to minimise dust formation. Included in the basic equipment of the machine are the machine switch cabinet, the steel substructure for the machine and the vibration dampening setup anchors. |
