Wind sifter DOPPSTADT WS 720 E TAIFUN
The DOPPSTADT wind sifter WS 720 is used for removal of lightweight contamination in composting or the preparation of rubbish and mixed construction waste. Mounted on a hook lift frame, the WS 720 is suitable for both stationary and mobile applications.
The feeding hopper is designed as a vibrating conveyor, which separates the material. A longitudinal blower lifts the lightweight material to be sifted on top of the heavy components, where it is most accessible for the subsequent separation process.
The machine can be adapted to suit different feed materials through adjustment of the air flow. For materials which are particularly difficult to separate, for instance due to high moisture content, separation can be improved with the adjustable vibration rollers. The lightweight material is collected by the perpendicular air flow and discharged through the sifting chamber into a collection container situated at the side of the machine.
The design of the DOPPSTADT WS 720 is based on the compressed air process. Because the separated parts are immediately discharged and need not be conveyed through additional flow ducts, very good operational safety is guaranteed. This is particularly effective for the processing of heavy, damp materials; blockages and mechanical loads on the air ducts and fans are minimised. Two mechanical flaps allow the adaptation of the flow direction to the condition and type of the particular material.
To minimise dust loads in the area of the machine, the wind sifter operates using a circulated air principle. After the lightweight material is discharged, the dust-laden air is sucked back in, making additional dedusting equipment unnecessary.
The WS 720 E Taifun is driven by a rotary current motor.
Easy accessibility through the large side doors and the centrally located lubrication points make the machine very maintenance-friendly. The control elements are centrally located together so that the machine can be operated safely and reliably. |
