Processing of Industrial/Construction Waste
INPUT: industrial / construction waste
OUTPUT: shredded and screened material
Industrial waste means primarily the waste similar to domestic waste, i. e. wastes that are produced in business enterprises, shops, service enterprises etc. and which can be disposed of with domestic waste (without organic fraction).
The term construction waste includes all the waste mixtures that consist of organic and mineral components. In detail, the following substances and products may be contained:
plastic, wood, paper, cardboard, metal, cables, plaster, plasterboards, roofing cardboard, insulating materials, glass, rubber, excavated material
Fluids, contaminated or polluted materials such as varnish, paint and asbestos must not be contained.
The main target is the volume reduction of the input material for a specific application.
PLANT EXAMPLE
Input material: industrial/construction waste
Throughput: 20-40 t/h
Output: shredded and screened material
Utilization output: recycling, thermal utilization
PROCESS DESCRIPTION (example)
The input material is charged into the shredder DW 3060 by wheel loader or excavator. During this step, a first pre-sorting is carried out and large contaminants such as metal and rocks can be sorted out.
The DW 3060 can be equipped with an optional comb extension, which ensures a consistant shredding. After the shredding, iron parts are separated by means of an overband magnet.
According to the application, the material can finally be screened to the desired grain size by means of the screen SM 518 or SM 620.
An optional Fe-separator can be installed above the coarse fraction discharge. In order to separate light parts from the material flow, an optional windsifter can be used.
If necessary, the coarse fraction can be transferred to a manual sorting station to carry out a further separation.
MOBILE DOPPSTADT MACHINES
DW 3060 | SM 518 (Trommel) |
The roller length of the DW 3060 is 3 m (9'10''). The roller rotates at 31 rpm. 21 roller teeth and 22 comb teeth shred the material. | The drum of the SM 518 has a length of 4.7 m (15'5'') and a diameter of 1.8 m (5'11''). For different applications various mesh sizes are available. |

STATIONARY DOPPSTADT MACHINES
DW 306 | SST 725 |
The powerful shredder DW 306 shreds the material with its 3 m (9'10'') roller working on the single-shaft principle. 21 teeth pull the material to be shredded through a shredding comb. | The SST 725 is encased and the screening drum with screw-guide is driven by friction wheel. The drum has a length of 7 m (23') and a diameter of 2.5 m (8'2''). |
